Welcome to NHS Grampian managed clinical network for coronary heart disease web site. This site provides access to meeting minutes for some of the MCN sub groups.
What is a managed clinical network?
Managed Clinical Networks (MCNs) were formed across Scotland to support a modern approach to improving healthcare for long-term conditions such as Coronary Heart Disease (CHD), Stroke, Epilepsy, Diabetes and Cancer.
Doctors, nurses and other healthcare professionals from hospitals, general practice and the ambulance service work together in partnership with NHS managers, social services, voluntary organisations and, most importantly, patients and carers. We aim to improve cardiac services in Grampian and to ensure that all patients have the same access to good quality healthcare.
